New Online Payment Vendor, Effective February 1, 2018

The City of Stow Water Billing Department is in the process of changing vendors and updating the software that is used by customers to pay their water bills online. The new vendor the City has chosen will provide increased security, ease of use and efficiency and customers can access the site using the same user-id and password used previously. The fee to pay with a credit card both online and in person is 2.5% with no transaction fee.

Online Payment:
The City of Stow Water Department has a website available to all water customers which provides the option to pay water bills online using a credit or debit card, view current and previous water bills, re-print water bills or sign up for e-billing (paperless billing). This online web service is available to all Stow Water customers and it is an optional method of payment which is not mandatory. We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and electronic check. The associated processing fees is 2.5% with no transaction fee.

First time visitors will have to create an account to sign into the bill payment module and you will be asked to create a username and password. You will need your most recent water bill which contains the account number and the name on the account. Just follow the simple instructions on the screen. (*Please note that when entering the account number, do not include any dashes or spaces.)  There are no fees associated with creating an online account to view your bill, payment history, usage or to sign up for e-billing – its free!  To sign up, click here

View Your Water Bill:
If you just want to view your water bill, you can do it online. If you can’t locate your paper bill, just print it out from the website and put it in the mail with your check. If you want to view your payment history, account balance or water usage, just log in and select “DETAILS” and all of this information is available to you – anytime, day or night, 24 hours a day! To view your water bill, click here

E-billing allows you to receive monthly email notifications that your bill is ready to be viewed online and a link to that bill will be provided in the email. Receiving and paying your bill online is quick, convenient and considered more secure than paper delivery. You will no longer receive a paper water bill via regular mail.  Please remember to update your account should your email address change so that you can continue to receive your water bill notifications via email. Owner/Tenant Information:
Only one online account can be created for each Stow water account. Therefore it is not possible for both the owner and the tenant of the same property to have an online account for the same Stow water account. It will be up to the owner of the property to come up with a mutual agreement with his or her tenant as to how this should be handled.

Processing Fees:
Please note that there is a processing fee charged to the customer when paying with a credit card. This fee is clearly noted on your payment screen and/or receipt and the fee will be added to the total amount of your bill. Unless otherwise noted, there will be a 2.5% convenience fee based on your total bill. If you are paying for more than one account, you will be charged 2.5% on the total amount of your bill. These fees are charged by a third party vendor and are not controlled by the City of Stow. The City of Stow does not receive any money from the credit card processing company other than the amount of the customers’ water bill.
