State Route 8

In September 2018, District 4 of the Ohio Department of Transportation will begin an estimated $48 million project to completely replace nearly six miles of pavement along SR 8 between Graham Road and SR 30, through the cities of Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Hudson and The Village of Boston Heights.

The project also includes bridge repairs consisting of two bridge deck replacements. During the four year project, a minimum of two lanes of traffic will be maintained in each directions of SR 8, while various short ramp closures will occur at the Graham Road, Seasons Road,Steels Corners Road and SRĀ  303 interchanges. 3/13/19:
On Monday, March 25th, Kenmore Construction will close the southbound interior lane on Rt 8. Two lanes northbound and two lanes southbound are projected to remain open throughout the construction season as the contractor replaces the median and the two interior lanes.
