The water main break that occurred at the intersection of Graham and Fishcreek Roads on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, has been repaired. The repair of the roadway is ongoing. Expected completion is later this evening, May 11, 2023. There will be traffic delays. Please avoid the area if at all possible.
The boil alert that was issued on Wednesday May 10, 2023 is still in effect in the affected area, until further notice. FOR THE AREAS HIGHLIGHTED, DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST. Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
An announcement will be made when the boil alert has been suspended and boiling water is no longer required. Bacteria testing routinely takes 24 hours from time of sampling for results.
