MAYOR SEEKS STOW RESIDENT FOR SERVICE ON VOLUNTARY CITY COMMISSION
Stow Mayor John Pribonic is a seeking Stow resident who has an interest in serving the City in a voluntary capacity. A Stow resident is needed to fill a vacancy on the City’s Planning Commission on Ward 2 (ward map), for a term of four years. An appointment to this vacancy is made by the Mayor and confirmed by Stow City Council.
The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing the preparation of plans and maps for the future physical development and harmonious improvement of Stow and the design, location, removal, relocation, and alteration of any public building or structure and public property. The Commission meets twice a month to hold hearings and vote on applications, as described above, concerning the use, development, and improvement of real property subject to City regulation.
