Summer Art Camps with Andrea Schepis Fun in Stow

The instructor is Andrea Schepis, an art teacher in Stow for 36 years who has had her own work featured in various juried shows all over the area.

  • Each camp runs Monday through Friday
  • 10 am to Noon
  • Cost: $95 each camp, includes all supplies

Art in Children’s Books

  • Ages 5 to 9
  • Monday through Friday
  • June 14th to 18th

Young artists will use various children's books as their inspiration to create their own artworks in a variety of media and techniques, including collage, painting, printmaking, scratchboard, and more.

Drawing Skills

  • Ages 10 to teens
  • Monday through Friday
  • June 28th to July 2nd

This is an ideal camp for those who want to hone their skills in drawing, shading, perspective, and more, using a variety of media and subject matter, including still life, landscape, and figure drawing.

Creatures from Around the World

  • Ages 5 to 9
  • Monday through Friday
  • July 12th to July 16th

Young artists will create paintings, drawings, sculptures, collages, prints, and more, of animals, reptiles, and other creatures inspired by art from around the world.

  • Ages 10 to teens
  • Monday through Friday
  • July 26th to July 30th

For the artists who want to explore various media and techniques including printmaking, papier mâché, collage, painting, drawing, and more.

Painting Outdoors

  • Ages 10 to adult
  • Monday through Friday
  • August 9th to August 13th

For the artists who want to create acrylic paintings on canvas and watercolor paintings inspired by the beauty of nature.  Painting in the style of the great Impressionists like Monet and Renoir will be the focus this week.
