Adopt-A-Spot is a volunteer activity sponsored by the City of Stow that is great for individuals or families, groups, civic organizations and businesses. The City has a continued need for volunteers who are interested in keeping Stow beautiful. Anyone of any age can become part of the solution! The purpose of the project is to beautify our community.
Volunteers are responsible for planting the annual flowers and weeding, removing spent/dead flower from the annuals, and breaking up soil in the flower bed on a weekly basis as needed.
The planting day is May 28, 2022 and plants will be available for pick up from 8 am and 1 pm. Participants are also required to be available on planting day to plant their sites.
The City of Stow will post signs at each site to recognize the service of the volunteers who are responsible for adopting the area.
If you would like to become part of this rewarding and enjoyable experience and are enthusiastic about spending time outdoors, please contact Landscape Arborist, Sue Mottl.
