Life Safety Programs

The City of Stow Fire Department (SFD) is responsible for a wide range of activities that make our community a safer place to work, shop and live. The most effective way to prevent the tragedy of fire and other injuries is through education on their causes and to introduce of strategies for dealing with these emergencies. The SFD strives to provide the safety tools needed to prevent tragedies through the following Fire Prevention Awareness, and Fire and Life Safety programs.

If you have any questions, please use the contact listed under each program.

Providing a child restraint that is properly selected, installed, and used is the best way to ensure that your child is at their safest in the event of an auto collision.

The SFD has Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians who educate caregivers on the correct selection, installation, and use of car seats. To schedule, an appointment contacts our Fire and Life Safety Educator at 330-689-3292 or by email.
