About the Parade
The City of Stow Parks & Recreation Department and the Kiwanis Club of Stow-Munroe Falls are sponsors of this traditional community event favorite. The committee is planning for this year’s parade to be the biggest and best so far, and is anticipating over 120 entries in the parade, and tens of thousands of viewers attending.
As always, the parade will take place on the Fourth of July, and it steps off at 10:00am from Stow-Kent Shopping Center and travels down Kent Road past Holy Family Church, and ends at Park Drive.
2017 Parade Theme: Salute to Our Veterans
2017 Parade Grand Marshal: All Who Served
We are proud to say that Stow is home to so many veterans that it is impossible to single out any one person who represents the pride our community has for these men and women who have given of themselves for the greater good. As a result, the Parade Committee has chosen “All Who Served” as this year’s Grand Marshal to celebrate and recognize the sacrifices and service of our brave veterans. This is our community’s way of saying “Thank you!” to each veteran.
Thank you to our 2017 Parade Sponsors!
