Mission Statement:

The Stow Fire Department provides a proactive approach to the saving of life and property for the city of Stow, Ohio. Through aggressive prevention, inspection, suppression, and rescue practices, coupled with a broad-based public safety educational program, accidental fires are kept at a minimum.

Our Public Safety Education programs enable a free-flow of communication and information between our school system and local businesses. These programs provide a profile of the department, not always seen by the public, and help the citizens understand operational requirements.

SIGN UP AND JOIN THE STOW FIRE DOGS PACK!

The goal is to meet up regularly for Pack Walks and other fun training and socializing opportunities. Both you and your dog will enjoy meeting other dogs and owners with a common goal to build better socialization skills and get some exercise. We will also be having a Pack Picnic at Bow Wow Beach in July!  “WALK A MARATHON WITH YOUR DOG”

Starting in June you can log every walk you take with your dog, both in the pack or on your own. On October 12th, the Fire Department will be holding our annual Open House. There you can turn in your Marathon Log, with at least 26.2 miles logged, and receive an award for completing the goal. A special award will be given for the most miles! This is a great chance to be part of a group that shares your love for our K9 friends. For a registration form, log form, pack rules and more click here.
